10 Egyptians on Forbes Mideast’s list of powerful businesswomen

Cairo – Mubasher: Ten Egyptians were on the Forbes list of the top 100 powerful businesswomen in the Middle East, led by Mona Zulficar, founding partner of Zulficar & Partners and chairperson of EFG Hermes, who came in the 24th spot.

Pakinam Kafafi, CEO of Taqa Arabia, also made it to the top, ranking the 31st, followed by Elham Mahfouz, CEO of Commercial Bank of Kuwait, who came in the 33rd place.

The list also includes Yasmine and Farida Khamis, senior vice chairpersons of Oriental Weavers, in the 40th place, while Hend El Sherbini, CEO of Integrated Diagnostics Holdings (IDH), came in the 53rd spot.

Moreover, Mervat Soltan, chairperson of the Export Development Bank of Egypt, ranked the 60th, followed by Reem Asaad, CEO at Raya Contact Center, who was in the 69th ranking position.

Hoda Mansour, managing director of SAP Egypt, came in the 75th position, while Abir Leheta, CEO of Egytrans, ranked the 81st, and Noha El Ghazaly, managing director of Pharos Holding, ranked the 92nd.

UAE women dominated the list with 23 businesswomen, followed by Egypt, Lebanon, and Oman.
