11 Egyptian firms raise capital by EGP 1.8bn – Ministry

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s investment and international cooperation ministry announced that 11 companies have increased their capital with a combined value of EGP 1.814 billion during the period from 23 May to 29 May.

Naeem Holding for Investment topped up its capital by EGP 401.7 billion, while Misr Beni Suef Cement raised its capital by EGP 390 million, the ministry said in a statement.

Additionally, Misr National Steel (Ataqa), International Free Trade Corporation, and Bayt El Khebra for Factoring increased their capital by EGP 300 million, EGP 200 million, and EGP 90 million, respectively.

Furthermore, El Ahram for Plastic Works, Samcrete Egypt Engineers and Contractors, a company for tourism investment, Saudi Co. For Pharmaceutical Industries (Spimaco), El-Mohr for Car Trade and Import, and Suez Company For Fertilizer Production raised their capital by EGP 90 million, EGP 85 million, EGP 80 million, EGP 66.879 million, EGP 60 million, and EGP 50 million, respectively.
