Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Tuesday’s trading session in negative territory, pressured by the fall of the banks and energy sectors.
The general index fell 0.36%, closing the mid-week session at 5,033.05 points.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 46.59 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 195.67 million through 2,035 transactions.
The energy sector topped losers with 1.135% as Abu Dhabi National Energy (TAQA) and Dana Gas plunged 6.25% and 0.90%, respectively.
Similarly, the banks sector retreated 0.59% after the heavyweight First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) shedded 0.81%.
On the other hand, the real estate sector headed gainers with 0.89% as Aldar Properties added 1.27%, while the telecommunication sector rose 0.12%.
