Egypt has witnessed the establishment of 282 new companies during the current week, with total investments amount to EGP 253.7 million, said a press release published by Egyptian General Authority for Investment (GAFI).
The newly established companies are expected to offer 2,235 job opportunities, noted GAFI.
The nationals have accounted for 87% of the capital of the newly established firms, while both the foreign and Arab investors accounted for 10% and 3% respectively.
The companies are established across the fields of agriculture, industry, tourism, services and information technology.
