Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index gained 35.59 points, or 0.77%, to close at 4,652.12 points on the back of the telecommunication, real estate, and banks sectors.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 56.29 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit AED 151.7 million.
The telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, rose 1.83% each
The real estate sector increased by 1.32%, as RAK Properties and Aldar Properties grew 1.56% and 1.47%, respectively.
The banks sector went up 0.42%, as Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) rose 1.39% and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) gained 0.4%.
The energy sector rose 0.11% after Taqa jumped 4.17%.
FAB led the ADX in terms of liquidity, with a turnover of AED 38.5 million.
