Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) added 10.52 points, or 0.23%, to close at 4,547.34 points on Monday on the back of the energy, telecommunication, and banks sectors.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 50.28 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit AED 71.58 million.
The energy sector grew 1.26%, as Dana Gas rose 1.87%, while the telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, went up 0.32% each.
The banks sector increased by 0.16% after National Bank of Umm Al-Qaiwain (NBQ) hiked 9.02%.
Meanwhile, the investment sector shed 0.52%.
Dana Gas led the ADX in terms of both value and volume, with 30.63 million shares and a turnover of AED 33.61 million.
