Mubasher: The GCC counties are to launch the 38th GCC Summit, which is hosted by Kuwait on Tuesday, 5 December, with anticipation of promoting the joint Gulf cooperation and achieving further stability and security among the Arab countries, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
At the two-day summit, the leaders will discuss development of several regional and international issues, as they seek to step up their efforts to fulfill aspirations of gulf citizens, according to KUNA.
The current political situation requires double efforts during the summit in a bid to address political and security challenges which pose a threat to the Arab region.
