Cairo – Mubasher: The number of ships passing through the Suez Canal on Monday registered 42 with a total cargo of 2.59 million tonnes, the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) said in a statement.
The northbound convoy saw the crossing of 15 vessels with a total cargo of 887,000 tonnes, the statement revealed.
In addition, 27 vessels carrying around 1.7 million tonnes crossed the southbound convoy.
