Mubasher: 85 persons were killed, and another 80 persons were injured in an explosion and shooting attack on a mosque in North Sinai Governorate, said on Friday the official Egyptian news agency, Middle East News Agency (MENA).
The Egyptian Television stated that the presidency announced mourning for the coming three days for the victims who died in bombing.
The mosque was aimed with improvised explosive device, and automatic firearms, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) reported, citing Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population’s spokesperson as saying.
