Mubasher: Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company (BKIC) said that A.M. Best International affirmed the company’s financial strength rating at “A-”, and the issuer credit rating at “a-”, according to a bourse statement.
A.M. Best noted that the company’s outlook is “Stable”.
The rating indicated that BKIC, which is listed on both KSE and Bahrain Bourse, has a strong risk-adjusted capitalization, conservative investment strategy, and excellent track record of technical profits.
The statement added that the company has a solid presence in the Bahraini stock market and is considered as the leading insurer in terms of gross written premiums. Also, its position in the Kuwaiti market ranks the top fifth insurer.
