A&M appoints 1st Saudi woman as chief country manager

Riyadh – Mubasher: Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has appointed the first Saudi Woman, Dina Abo-Onoq, as a chief country manager for Saudi Arabia.

Abo-Onoq is one of the Saudi women who held a slew of leading positions in international consulting organisations, the global professional services firm said in a statement.

The move is part of A&M’s efforts to expand in the region, especially in the oil-rich Kingdom.

“Dina’s appointment illustrates our commitment to the region and its goals. She will be an extremely valuable asset to our clients and our team,” Co-head of A&M Middle East Saeeda Jaffar said.

Before joining A&M, Abo-onoq worked with BNP Paribas, Merrill Lynch in Saudi Arabia, as a head of Business Development for CA Indosuez Wealth Management, and she was a director of Business Development for LGT.

“I look forward to helping A&M’s Middle East clients continue to grow and to maximize value,” Abo-onoq commented.
