Dubai – Mubasher: The total value of the Switzerland-based ABB Group’s contracts in three sectors of the UAE’s economy – utilities and infrastructure, oil, and gas – registers AED 1.8-2.5 billion per year, managing director of the UAE and GCC Mostafa Al Guezeri told Al Bayan newspaper on Thursday.
The total value of public utility projects in the Emirati markets recorded over AED 5.5 billion, Al Bayan reported, citing Al Guezeri as saying.
The UAE is the land of unlimited opportunities and possibilities, which helped it to assume a global position in various fields, among them logistics, green energy and digitalisation, the top official revealed.
Currently, ABB Group operates in eight new projects in Dubai, most of them are related to Expo 2020 event, Al Guezeri noted.
