Dubai – Mubasher: Bank ABC and Emirates NBD Capital Limited on Monday announced the successful closing of a dual currency syndicated term loan facility for the Turkish company, Yapı Kredi Leasing.
The transaction, signed on 28 August 2017, comprises of two 2-year and 5-day facilities, worth $115 million and EUR 30 million, respectively, according to a press release.
The facility was launched at $100 million and was subsequently increased to $150 million, after participations from the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. It will be utilised for general corporate purposes.
Bank ABC and Emirates NBD Capital acted as initial lead arrangers and bookrunners for the facility.
Moreover, Bank ABC acted as a coordinator and facility agent, while Emirates NBD Capital acted as publicity agent.
State Bank of India, Bahrain also joined the transaction and acted as a mandated lead arranger.
On another note, seven other banks participated at the arranger level, including; Ahli United Bank (AUB), ICBC Turkey Bank, Banka Kombëtare Tregtare, BBK, GarantiBank International, Vakifbank International, and United Arab Bank.
Yapı Kredi Leasing, established in 1987, is a Turkish company that works in the financing leasing services.
