UAE – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), along with Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA), announced the launch of three integrated Digital Service journeys through the Abu Dhabi Government Services Programme (TAMM).
The three journeys aim at facilitating business activities for investors and businessmen in Abu Dhabi, according to a press release.
The journeys are ‘Discover Abu Dhabi as an investment destination,’ ‘Start your business,’ and ‘Manage your business,’ ADDED noted.
This step comes in line with ADDED’s strategy to boost Abu Dhabi’s leading position in offering world-class government services that meet customer expectations.
This came on the sidelines of the department’s participation at GITEX Technology Week 2019 being held in Dubai until 10 October 2019.
In collaboration with ADDA, the ADDED is showcasing the ‘Discover Abu Dhabi as an investment destination’ journey, which is a “first-of-its-kind initiative” aiming at helping investors, entrepreneurs and companies to explore business environment and investment opportunities in Abu Dhabi.
The ‘Start your business’ journey, which offers a smart tool to help investors to identify the recommended legal form, required documents, and licensing costs, as well as economic activities relevant to their business, is also being displayed at the GITEX.
Moreover, the ‘Manage your business,’ which is an ideal platform programmed to determine the different types of applications, track their status, and provide all the required information for businessmen regarding their investments, is being presented as well.

Rashed Abdul Karim Al Balooshi, Undersecretary of ADDED, said: “ADDED is keen to continuously launch smart initiatives and e-services that enhance customers’ experience and increase their confidence in the emirate’s investment environment through facilitating their businesses and journeys by obtaining the required licenses and information to complete their procedures as quickly as possible with minimal effort.”
“Our participation at the 39th edition of GITEX aims to provide a wide range of leading services and initiatives designed to complement our journey of providing innovative, integrated, simple and effective digital solutions and e-services that contribute to saving investor’s time, effort and money. This aligns with the directives of our wise leadership to place the happiness and prosperity of the local community as our top priority,” Al Balooshi added.
The ADDED had recently launched a set of electronic licensing services dedicated to investors and businessmen through its ADBC and Industrial Development Bureau (IDB), including Tajer Abu Dhabi License, Dual License, Instant License, All-in-One Bundle, Tech Licenses, and other services.
