ADDED launches new website during GITEX 2019

UAE – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) has launched a new website during its 39th GITEX Technology Week, which started on 6 October and runs until 10 October.

Developed in light of of the Abu Dhabi digital transformation strategic goals, the new platform will provide multiple smart solutions to boost the experience of businesses, investors, consumers and customers, according to a recent press release.

The online portal reflects the department's efforts in elevating the standards of the provided government services, such as the smart electronic services that reflect on the customers’ experience in the long run.

The website will feature ‘’business, industrial and economic activity licensing packages, in addition to a number of interactive and electronic services [including] Instant license, Tajer Abu Dhabi, Dual license, ‘All-In-One Bundle,’ [and] Tech Licenses Initiative,’’ the press release said. 

Launched in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA), the new website will guarantee a ‘’common electronic platform’’ that contributes to faster procedures of obtaining of documents.

Chairman of ADDED, Saif Mohamed Al Hajeri, said, “Our participation at GITEX Technology Week 2019, demonstrates our continuing commitment to enhance cooperation and partnership with various government entities in the move to provide leading services and facilities to investors and businessmen.”

ADDA’s outstanding efforts truly reflect the emirate’s vision in enhancing the directives of the role of digital transformation, Al Hajeri remarked.

ADDED is keen to develop and create ‘’initiatives and services that provide the needed support to investors and businessmen in establishing their businesses in Abu Dhabi, while also attracting more foreign investments into the emirate and thereby enhance its global competitiveness.’’
