Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) announced on Tuesday that it will fund the project to expand the King Hussein Medical city in Jordan by AED 735 million ($200 million), according to a press release.
The funding is part of five-year grant by the UAE to Jordan, with a total value $1.25 billion.
The first phase of the project includes the construction of a new hospital, with a capacity of 940 beds. It will follow the global medical standards, and will serve around 1200 patients per day.
