Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index added 0.35% or 16.07 points to close at 4,643.54 points on Thursday.
The ADX’s trading volume decreased to 81.2 million shares from 84.53 million on Wednesday, while the market’s liquidity declined to AED 191.1 million, compared to AED 192.55 million in the previous session.
The telecommunications sector and its only stock Etisalat gained 0.56% each.
The banks sector rose 0.24% after Union National Bank (UNB) surged 2.51% while Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) went up 1.35%.
The real estate sector levelled up 0.23%, as Aldar Properties grew 0.87%.
Meanwhile, the energy sector inched down 0.06% after TAQA lost 1.79%.
RAKBANK was the most actively traded stock on the ADX in terms of volume, with 15.17 million traded shares, while First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) led the market in terms of liquidity, with a turnover of AED 40.9 million through 106 transactions.
