Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) bought a 16.7% stake in UK gas distribution business Scotia Gas Networks (SGN) from the energy supplier SSE, according to a statement.
Scheduled to be finalised by the end of October, the transaction is valued at AED 2.85 billion ($775 million).
As a result, SSE’s stake in SGN will be reduced to 33.3% from 50%.
