ADIB Egypt stock approaches breakout above EGP 41

Cairo - Mubasher: The stock of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank–Egypt (ADIB Egypt) experienced some declines due to profit-taking after reaching a historic high around EGP 44.95. This corrective movement occurred within the overall upward trend without breaking through key levels.

Mubasher Research indicated that the correction remained technically healthy, with the stock rebounding from a key demand zone between EGP 36.10 and EGP 36.95. This reinforces the strength of the prevailing uptrend and highlights sustained buying interest at lower levels.

The stock is currently testing the psychological resistance level of EGP 41.00. A confirmed close above this level would likely pave the way for further gains, initially targeting the range between EGP 41.91 and EGP 42.64.

A breakout above this zone could accelerate bullish momentum, opening the door for a retest of EGP 43.74, followed by the record high at EGP 44.95.

On the downside, a drop below EGP 39.65 may indicate a shift towards sideways movement, potentially delaying the bullish scenario in the near term.

Price Action

ADIB Egypt has delivered a strong performance since the start of 2026, extending the upward trend that began in 2025. The stock surged from EGP 27.95 in January to a historic peak near EGP 44.95 in February.

Following this rally, the stock entered a natural consolidation phase, driven by profit-taking. Despite this, it has managed to hold above the critical support level of EGP 36.10, trading within a relatively wide range while preserving its positive structure.

Overall, the stock’s ability to maintain key support levels underscores the resilience of its uptrend, keeping the outlook tilted to the upside as long as these levels remain intact.
