Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has cut more than 200 jobs over the past three months, according to a recent report by Bloomberg.
The cuts were made mostly in the retail business. Around 100 employees were dismissed last month, with the layoffs mostly affecting the junior staff, in a bank that employs about 2,500 people across the UAE.
Bloomberg quoted a spokesman for ADIB saying that the bank doesn’t comment on speculations and rumors.
