Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB)’s customers have reached one million.
The UAE-based lender has attracted new customers from various backgrounds, doubling their five-year-ago number, according to a company statement released on Sunday.
“Reaching one million customers is a major achievement and a testament to the bank’s strategy and the commitment of our employees,” ADIB’s vice chairman and acting CEO Khamis Buharoon commented.
ADIB welcomed expatriate and non-Muslim customers, who opt for Islamic finance due to its fairness, transparency, and simplicity, the ADX-listed bank revealed.
“Increasingly, our customers are choosing to manage their finances with us in the digital space. We are seeing an average of over 2 million transactions monthly through mobile banking,” Buharoon said.
