Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) on Monday announced that it has appointed Mazin Manna as the bank’s new CEO, after obtaining the approval of the Central Bank of the UAE.
Manna replaces Khamis Buharoon, who has been acting CEO since March 2017, the bank said in a statement.
"The Board of Directors and I are delighted that Mazin Manna will be joining ADIB to continue our trajectory of strong growth and lead the bank as we carry out a transformation strategy to enhance our customers’ experience,” commented ADIB chairman Jawaan Awaidha Suhail Al Khaili.
The new CEO will widen and deepen the bank’s comprehensive retail and corporate banking offering, the statement added.
Manna's extensive experience and expertise will support and push ADIB’s strategy forward, ensuring that the Abu Dhabi-based and listed bank continues to create value for its customers, employees and investors, Al Khaili noted.
It is worth noting that Khamis Buharoon will return to his role as vice chairman of the board as he ensures a smooth transition.
