UAE - Mubasher: Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC Group), part of ADQ, has added Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Abu Dhabi Resort and Anantara's Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by its hospitality portfolio.
With the two new resorts, ADNEC Group has raised the total number of its hotels to five, including Aloft Abu Dhabi, Andaz Abu Dhabi Capital Gate, and Aloft London Excel, according to a recent press release.
This step is in line with ADQ's objective to foster Abu Dhabi's position as a leading tourist destination, support the tourism sector, and diversify the non-oil economy.
The Chief Investor Officer at ADQ, Jaap Kalkman, said: "We are confident that transferring the resorts will increase ADNEC’s competitive offering and allow it to create engaging new experiences for conference and exhibition attendees in the future."
The Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC, Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, commented: "The addition of these two iconic hotels will further support our ability to increase the direct and indirect economic contributions of the tourism sector in Abu Dhabi, as well as confirm its position as the region’s capital of the business tourism sector."
