Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) said it intends to expand its Al Hosn facility in partnership with Occidental Petroleum.
The expansion will boost our gas processing by 50% of existing capacity.
ADNOC said it expects the plant to become operational within the new five-year business plan – part of the company’s 2030 Strategy - which was recently approved by Abu Dhabi’s Supreme Petroleum Council.
The $10bn Al Hosn plant began operations in 2015 and reached its full capacity of one billion cubic feet per day (bcf) in the second quarter of 2016.
