Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) on Wednesday signed a 15-year gas sales agreement with the Dubai Supply Authority (DUSUP) for providing natural gas supplies to meet the emirate’s energy needs.
“We believe that we are building on the foundations to expand the breadth and depth of our energy relations now and in the future,” said Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, DUSUP’s director general.
ADNOC plans to expand sour gas production and ensure the delivery of a sustainable and economic gas supply in order to meet the UAE’s energy demand, the company said in a statement.
“This agreement underscores ADNOC’s commitment to meeting the growing energy needs of the UAE,” Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE’s Minister of State and ADNOC’s CEO, commented.
