ADNOC reduces price of non-subsidised LPG by 13%

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: ADNOC Distribution on Wednesday said that it decreased the prices of non-subsidised liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders by 13.4% in May 2017, according to a press release.

The company’s new price stands at AED 45 per 25 pounds, compared to the previous price of AED 52, and AED 90 per 50 pounds, compared to AED 104, while 100 pounds cost AED 180, as opposed to AED 208.

For holders of Rahal e-Gas cards, ADNOC Distribution offers LPG at subsidised prices of AED 20 for 25 pounds and AED 30 for 50 pounds across Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirate.

“LPG refill prices are done monthly with a specific strategy, taking into consideration the interests of consumers, domestic liquefied gas customers in the UAE, and keeping up with the changes in world prices for gas,” Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, acting CEO of ADNOC Distribution, said.
