UAE – Mubasher: The spokesperson of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) announced that the company has gradually relaunched operations at the Ruwais oil refinery complex, according to Reuters.
The UAE's largest refinery with a capacity of 835,000 barrels per day was shut down at the beginning of 2020 due to maintenance works.
"We are gradually restarting our refining operations in Ruwais following our planned maintenance programme," the spokesman told Reuters.
Noteworthy to highlight, in February 2018, ADNOC announced that the company has been investing around $3.1 billion to upgrade its Ruwais oil refinery to enhance the flexibility of Murban grade’s production.
