Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) on Sunday announced launching a “unified corporate identity” for the ADNOC Group’s companies.
The announcement was made during a ceremony at ADNOC’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
This identity comes in line with ADNOC’s important role in ensuring the best investment of energy resources and its contributions to the economic and social development of the UAE, an ADNOC top official said in a statement via Twitter.
“To keep pace with changing times, agile companies must focus on maximising value and investing in people to strengthen performance,” said the crown prince of Abu Dhabi Mohamed Bin Zayed.
“[The unification] will enable our biggest national company to leverage its strengths and reinforce its competitiveness,” Bin Zayed added.
The unification process will strengthen ADNOC’s effectiveness, enabling it to play “a greater role” in national development, the top official further stated.
Established in 1971, ADNOC operates in all areas relevant to oil and gas and has 18 subsidiaries such as Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Limited (GASCO), Zakum Development Company (ZADCO), and Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO).
