Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority (ADWEA) completed 13 plants, of which 10 were for water and two for sewage, in addition to a large independent underway solar power project at a combined value of AED 70 billion ($19.06 billion).
Total production capacities for water projects reached 960 million gallons a day, while electricity projects generated 16.922 megawatts after Al Mirfa IWPP plant started operation, according to Al-Ittihad newspaper.
The value of water and electricity infrastructure development projects that were carried out by ADWEA and its companies in 2017 hit AED 1.456 billion and AED 456 million, respectively, a previous statistic revealed.
