Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index rose 81.03 points, or 1.6%, to 5,044.72 points in a week.
Market capitalisation went up to AED 515.858 billion over the week, compared to AED 506.357 billion a week earlier.
The banking sector grew 1.4%, while the real estate sector increased by 3.8%. The energy sector rose 0.9% and the telecommunication sector added 2.5%.
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank grew 0.8%. 4.8%, and 2.6%, respectively. Aldar Properties rose 3.8% and Etisalat gained 2.5%.
