Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Thursday rising 1.67% or 74.80 points to the level of 4,546.37 points.
Traded volume reached 156.23 million shares exchanged at AED 483.33 million compared to 116.23 million shares at a value of AED 163.34 million on Tuesday.
Etisalat was the top gaining stock and acquired 43.2% of the market's AED 208.95 million turnover.
The telecom sector increased 2.45%, backed by Etisalat which added the same percentage.
The energy sector rose 1.89%, as Taqa and Dana Gas levelled up 1.92% and 1.9%, respectively.
The real estate sector also added 1.5%, after Eshraq advanced 1.96% and Al Dar Real Estate by 1.54%.
The banks sector went up 1.32%, after First Gulf Bank and National Bank of Abu Dhabi gained 2% and 1.42%, respectively.
On the other hand, the industry sector was the only loser shedding 0.19%, weighted by Ras Al Khaimah Ceramics lost 2%.
