Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The general index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange grew by 98.03 points, or 1.93%, to close at 5,173.17 points on Wednesday.
Market capitalisation increased by AED 8.39 billion to reach AED 526.71 billion.
The banking sector rose by 2.4%, while the telecom and real estate sectors added 1.84% and 0.43%, respectively. The energy sector shed 0.2%.
First Abu Dhabi Bank levelled up by 3.44%, Aldar Properties gained 0.43%, and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank rose by 0.39%. On the other hand, Dana Gas lost 1.39%.
The ADX’s trading volume hit 42.41 million shares, while liquidity reached AED 122.01 million.
