Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed at a rise on Thursday on the collective rise of all sectors led by real estate and energy sectors.
The general index gained the most in 19 sessions, adding 86.18 points or 2.13% to reach 4,410.77 points.
Trading volume grew to 219.40 million shares on Thursday, compared to 143.55 million shares on Wednesday. Turnover stood at AED 255 million, compared to AED 191.22 million.
The real estate sector rose 4.2% after Aldar Properties increased 4.8%.
The energy sector levelled up 4.18% as Dana Gas and TAQA recovered 4.65% and 2.38, respectively.
The banks sector advanced 2.77%, backed by Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, National Bank of Abu Dhabi and First Gulf Bank which went up 4%, 3.97% and 3.54% in a row.
The real estate sector was the most active after generating AED 144.31 million, spurred by Aldar Properties and Eshraq Properties with turnover of AED 61 million and AED 52 million in a row.
