Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) pulled higher on Tuesday morning, backed by most blue chips.
The general index went up 0.7% or 29.6 points to reach 4,311.16 points by 11:15am UAE time.
The market saw trading of 10.3 million shares through 208 transactions, with turnover of AED 20.3 million.
The telecom sector was the best performer after adding 1.11%, bolstered by Etisalat which followed suit.
The banks sector levelled up 0.7% as First Gulf Bank (FGB) increased 0.8%.
The real estate sector advanced 0.6% due to a rise in Aldar by 1.14%.
The investment sector grew 0.57% after Waha Capital edged 0.43% higher.
On the flipside, the energy sector retreated 1.08% after Gulf Pharmaceuticals Industries (Julphar) declined 4.08%.
