Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a bullish performance for the third session in row on Tuesday, backed by the rise of blue-chip stocks.
The general index added 0.48% or 21.07 points to reach 4,372.48 points.
Turnover reached AED 338.96 million ($92.27 million) on Tuesday, compared to AED 450.8 million ($122.713 million) on Monday. Trading volume stood at 246.05 million shares, compared to 348.8 million shares.
The services sector topped gainers after adding 2.54% as Abu Dhabi National Hotels levelled up 5.56%.
The energy sector increased 0.85% due to a 4.35% rise in TAQA.
The telecom sector gained 0.57% after Etisalat went up 0.57%.
Also, banks grew 0.49% as Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) rose 2.94% and 1.83%.
The market’s performance was boosted by the real estate sector too after adding 0.25%, spurred by Eshraq Properties which advanced 1.30%.
