ADX closes Monday’s session up, market cap gains AED 320m

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) grew by 0.18% after earning 8.82 points at the end of Monday’s trading session, closing at the level of 5,038.75 points.

Liquidity reached AED 245 million after 75.29 million shares were exchanged through 1,649 transactions.

The market cap value recorded AED 517.39 billion, up by AED 320 million from Sunday’s session where it registered AED 517.07 billion.

The energy sector added 0.44%, whereas the telecom sector shed 0.24%.

Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) came on top of the winners with 4%, whereas Invest Bank was the top loser with 9.84%.

Wahat Al Zaweya Holding hit the highest liquidity of AED 96.44 million through the exchange of 39.68 million shares.

As for the blue chips, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) went up by 2.68% and 1.88%, respectively.
