Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) declined by 1.56% or 65.35 points to close Monday's trading session at 4,135.45 points, reversing the upward performance on Sunday.
The market cap value decreased by AED 1.35 billion to AED 448.64 billion, compared to AED 449.99 billion during the previous session.
Turnover amounted to AED 159.98 million after 67.56 million shares were exchanged through 2,199 transactions.
The banks sector led the losers with 3.08%, while the energy segment headed the gainers with 0.90%.
Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (BILDCO) came on top of the red zone with 5%, while International Holdings Company topped the green zone with 14.93%.
International Holdings Company recorded the highest turnover of AED 34.65 million, while Aldar Properties, down 3.23%, was the most active stock with 13.33 million traded shares.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) led the rising blue chips with 2.67%.
