ADX closes Sunday in green

Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Sunday’s trading session at a slight rise, edging up 0.02% or 0.48 points, and closing at the level of 4519.29 points.

Traded volume decreased to 50.59 million shares compared to 80.54 million shares on Thursday.

Total turnover also went down to AED 60.45 million, from AED 153.2 million in the previous session.

The main index increased on the back of the telecom sector which gained 0.25%.

On the other hand, the energy sector dropped 1.79% with TAQA and Dana Gas losing 1.92% and 1.75% respectively.

The banking sector declined 0.07% with National Bank of Abu Dhabi decreasing 0.11%, while real estate slipped 0.03% as Eshraq lost 1.32%.

RAK Properties was the most active in today’s trade as 28.66 million shares were traded at a total turnover of AED 17.63 million.
