ADX closes Sunday lower

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Sunday’s trading session 0.33% or 15 points lower at 4,593.29 points.

The market’s liquidity shrank to AED 143.61 million from AED 281.93 million on Thursday, after trading volume increased to 149.74 million shares from 89.6 million.

The energy segment retreated by 2.52%, dragged by Dana Gas which lost 2.3%.

Meanwhile, the banks sector gained 0.36%, on the back of First Abu Dhabi Bank which levelled up 0.44%.

Manazel Real Estate was the most active stock on which 112.94 million shares were traded at a value of AED 60.45 million.
