Abu Dhabi — Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Thursday’s session 0.33%, or 16.80 points, lower at 5,032.19 points, in line with the fall of both the telecom and banking sectors.
The telecommunication sector and its only stock Etisalat retreated 0.49% each.
Furthermore, the banks sector went down 0.36%, as Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) fell by 3.16% and 0.13%, respectively.
As for the gainers, the real estate sector added 0.03%, backed by the 0.47% rise of RAK Properties.
By the end of the week’s last session, the ADX’s turnover amounted to AED 190.23 million with the trading volume reaching 57.130 million shares traded through 1,308 transactions.
Market capitalisation lost AED 1.6 billion to stand at AED 505.554 billion on Thursday compared to AED 507.210 billion in the previous session.
