Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) rose by 0.22% or 10.75 points to 4,901.43 points by the end of Thursday’s trading session, unlike its downward performance on Wednesday, 26 February.
A total of 59.44 million shares were traded through 1,983 transactions at a total value of AED 226.77 million.
The market cap value fell by AED 20 million to AED 514.61 billion from AED 514.81 billion during the earlier session.
As for the sectors, the energy index headed the decliners with 0.54%, while the telecom segment remained unchanged.
At the same time, Arkan Building Materials Company came on top of the green zone with 2.97%, while Methaq Takaful Insurance Company led the red zone with 6.09%.
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), closed up 1.27%, posting today's highest turnover of AED 53.87 million, while Wahat Al Zaweya Holding recorded the highest trading volume of 14.66 million shares.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) led the losing blue chips and declined by 3.13%.
