ADX closes Thursday up; market cap records AED 668.17bn

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up 0.23% to close Thursday's trading session at 4,519.135 points, unlike its negative performance on Wednesday, 9 September.

Turnover amounted to AED 364.11 million after 93.20 million shares had been traded through 1,987 transactions.

The market cap value rose by AED 1.89 billion to AED 668.17 billion, compared to AED 666.28 billion during the previous session.

Abu Dhabi National Takaful Co headed the green zone with 14%, while National Marine Dredging Co topped the red zone with 5%.

International Holdings Co recorded the highest turnover of AED 97.52 million, while Aldar Properties, down 0.48%, posted the highest trading volume of 36.18 million shares.

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) came on top of the rising blue chips with 2.52%.
