Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has maintained its downward performance by the end of Tuesday's trading session after losing 0.45% or 19.19 points to stand at 4,287.82 points.
The market cap value declined by AED 25 million to AED 597.47 billion from AED 579.72 billion during the previous session.
Turnover amounted to AED 140.15 million after 86.60 million shares had been exchanged through 1,424 transactions.
The real estate sector headed the losers with 1.58%, while the telecommunications segment topped the winners with 0.48%.
Finance House came on top of the red zone with 5%, while Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (Bildco) led the green zone with 13.20%.
Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat) recorded the highest turnover of AED 26.01 million, while Aldar Properties posted the highest trading volume of 9.73 million shares.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) led the losing blue chips with 0.99%, while Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) topped the rising blue chips with 1.01%.
