ADX closes Tuesday down; market cap loses AED 5.43bn

Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) retreated by 0.14% to settle at 4,508.99 points by the end of Tuesday's trading session.

Turnover amounted to AED 337.34 million after 101.71 million shares were exchanged through 1,908 transactions.

The market cap value declined by AED 5.43 billion to AED 665.40 billion, compared to AED 670.83 billion during the previous session.

Methaq Takaful Insurance led the losing stocks with 4%, while AXA Green Crescent Insurance topped the rising stocks with 14.55%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) registered the highest turnover of AED 75.05 million, while Aldar Properties posted the highest trading volume of 28.78 million shares.

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) led the losing blue chips with 0.87%, while Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) headed the rising blue chips with 1.93%.
