ADX closes Tuesday down; market cap loses AED 9.87bn

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down 0.25% to settle at 4,558.69 points by the end of Tuesday's trading session, unlike its upward performance on Monday, 24 August.

Turnover amounted to AED 419.91 million after 127.76 million shares had been traded through 2,939 transactions.

The market cap value decreased by AED 9.87 billion to AED 679.65 billion, compared to AED 689.52 billion during the previous session.

Eshraq Investments headed the losing stocks with 4.93%, while Ras Al Khaimah Co. for White Cement and Construction Materials came on top of the rising stocks with 15%.

International Holdings registered the highest turnover of AED 92.48 million, while Aldar Properties, down 3.37%, posted the highest trading volume of 41.90 million shares.

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) led the losing blue chips with 2.04%.
