Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Tuesday in green, backed by the leading stocks.
The Abu Dhabi General Index (ADI) rose 0.31% or 13.79 points to 4,441.13 points.
The index rise was supported by the 0.98% rise in the real estate sector, pushed up by Eshraq with 2.78%, and Aldar with 0.87%.
The banks sector also went 0.32% up, on the back of four sectors, led by Finance House with 3.23%, followed by SIB with 1.48%, Union National with 1.43%, and finally NBAD with 0.49%.
The telecommunications sector also rose 0.28%, as Etisalat’s stock rose by the same percentage at close.
Trading volume fell to 40.3 million shares from 88.6 million shares, generating AED 62.9 million as compared to AED 110 million the day before.
Dana Gas achieved the highest trading activity in terms of volume with 12.4 million shares, while NBAD generated the highest liquidity at AED 13.1 million.
