Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance on Tuesday amid lower trading activity, spurred by the rise of energy and real estate sectors.
The main index grew 0.19% or 8.59 points to reach 4,572.57 points.
Trading volume reached 185.33 million shares on Tuesday, compared to 281.69 million on Monday. Turnover amounted to AED 263.11 million, compared to AED 354.06 million.
The energy sector topped gainers with a 5.9% rise as Dana Gas and TAQA grew 6.38% and 4.17% respectively.
The real estate sector increased 1.10% after Eshaq Properties advanced 9.09% and became the value leader after generating AED 96.3 million.
The banks sector added 0.15% after Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and Union National Bank (UNB) grew 0.81% and 4.09% respectively.
On the other hand, the telecom sector fell 0.56% after Etisalat retreated 0.56%.
