ADX closes Tuesday in green

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The general index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) inched up by 0.8% to close at the level of 5,087.28 points by the end of Tuesday’s trading session.

The market’s liquidity totalled AED 550.53 million where 192.20 million shares were traded through 1,727 transactions.  

The bourse’s market cap value leapt by AED 4.46 billion to AED 519.85 billion when compared to AED 515.39 billion in the previous session.

AXA Green Crescent Insurance soared by 14.86%, topping the gainers, while Arkan Building Materials Company declined by 9.92%, and was the biggest losing stock.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) achieved the highest liquidity of AED 53.09 million, while Aldar Properties was the most actively traded stock through 8.29 million shares.

As for blue-chip stocks, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and Dana Gas rose by 1.45% and 0.56%, respectively.
