Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a bearish performance on Tuesday, weighed down by the fall of the telecom sector.
The main index retreated 0.10% or 4.50 points to reach 4,561.65 points.
The telecom sector fell 1.33% after Etisalat retreated 1.33%.
The services sector slid 1.11% due to a decrease in Gulf Medical Projects (GMPC) of 9.91%. The investment sector declined 0.49% as Waha Capital went down 0.54%.
Turnover amounted to AED 143.50 million on Tuesday, compared to AED 124.76 million on Monday. Trading volume reached 115.49 million shares, compared to 64.72 million shares.
Dana Gas was the most active stock after trading 7.11 million shares, with a turnover of AED 30.60 million.
