ADX closes Tuesday up 0.9%

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Tuesday’s trading session in the green zone, as the main index went up by 0.9% to close at 4,806.17 points, maintaining its positive performance for the second day in a row.

A total of 35.46 million shares were exchanged through 2,281 transactions at a value of AED 182.59 million.

The market cap value climbed by around AED 5.12 billion to AED 503.95 billion from AED 498.83 billion during the previous session.

Meanwhile, Ras Al Khaimah Cement (RAK Cement) hit the top of the green zone by gaining 11.11%, while the National Investor Company led the red zone and fell by 7.14%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) registered the highest turnover of AED 57.56 million, while Aldar Properties was the most active stock with 6.94 million traded shares.

Emirates Telecommunication Group (Etisalat) headed the rising blue chips with 2.80%.
